Sitting on the Front Stoop waiting to Garden
Allen is always super excited for gardening projects, so he gathered some top soil, seeds, and a watering bucket. We waited on the front stoop and watched the cars go by as Daddy went upstairs. He took these shots on his way down.

La Ferme a Cap St. Jacques
La Ferme a Cap St.Jacques is on the far West side of the Island. The grounds are small but substantial, and really encouraging to Allen who dreams of having his own farm. Charlotte had an amazing time looking at geese, cows, horses and ostriches. It was a really great day!
Guerilla Gardening
Guerilla Gardening. def. gardening on another person's land without permission.
Due to the lack of green space and a waiting period of 3 to 5 years for a community garden plot, Allen and Charlotte decided to plant sunflower seeds in the grassy plot outside our building. Can't wait to see the results!

A Lucky Garbage Find
So last night I was heading out for my 9 o'clock jog with Charlotte and noticed this in our alley. I assumed it was broken but on closer inspection found nothing wrong with it. From my experience in Montreal, if you see something in the garbage and you want it...act fast. So I did.
